Get drenched by the river spray as you experience the ultimate buzz of rafting!
Nagatoro is one of the best places to go rafting in Japan.
The tour will take you down the river in a large inflatable boat.
The boat can fit seven to nine guests, so we welcome families, couples, and groups of friends!
Enjoy the rafting in so many different ways, such as visiting the piles of stones of the Nagatoro Valley, designated as one of the natural monuments of Japan, as well as diving in the river and viewing the waterfalls.
English-speaking staff will be available, so there will be no problems if you don’t understand Japanese.
It is located not far from Tokyo and if you are traveling by car, we have parking spaces free of charge. If you are traveling by train, it is located only three minutes by foot from the closest station!
We also rent out equipment so you don’t have to bring your own gear.

Tour Prices
Prices range from 6,000 yen per person (tax included), including equipment and insurance fees

Options
We also offer barbecues after the tour for an additional 2,000 yen.
You will need to bring
- swimsuit or t-shirt and shorts (clothes that can get wet)
- shoes that can get wet and stay on your feet (Crocs, flip-flops, shoes with heels are not suitable)
- a towel

Charges will not apply if you bring your own swimsuit, towel, and shoes.
Life jacket, helmet, paddle, and wetsuit hire fees are included in the tour price.
Photos taken during the tour can be downloaded for free
You tour guide will take photos with a waterproof camera during the tour. The photos taken can be downloaded from our website free of charge
Other Precautions
The tour will still operate during wet weather. However, it may be canceled during more extreme weather situations.
We do not allow guests on the boat if they have consumed alcohol

On the day of the tour, please be sure to arrive 10 minutes before the tour starts.

Cancellation Fees
Please note that if you wish to cancel your booking, our standard cancellation fee will apply.
A cancellation fee will also apply for groups with less members than indicated on their booking.

Access
Traveling by car
Departing Central Tokyo, enter the Kan-Etsu Expressway at Nerima Interchange, exit at Hanazono Interchange, drive 20km towards Chichibu/Nagatoro. Turn left at Kami-Nagatoro Station and in approx. 300m, you will arrive at Outdoor Center Nagatoro.
